Totally agree. And now national indoor champion. Many congratulations to one of the school's truly outstanding runners. And she is the quintessential blue-chipper. School could use more. Villanova alums and supporters should be proud. Ms. Lipari should be even prouder. Many cheers.

I just watched the race on FloTrack; as usual
Emily won with her outstanding kick. I just ordered
my tickets for Penn. Emily's kick in the 4x800
last year is a race that I will never forget.

Finally got to watch it. Wow, impressive kick. Passed three runners in final 75M and made it look pretty easy. Congrats to her.

The most impressive thing about her kick is that when you adjust for altitude, it might be the best 1500/Mile time of her career, spanning both indoors and out. There isn't really a reason for her to run a fast, time trial type of race this outdoor season, but she might be good for 4:08 or so right about now.
