All the posts I see on page1 of Nova Nation are from Feb 2016 at the latest; most from 2015.

I used to despise this guy but he's knocked out two great articles this week. Of particular interest is the part about what this means for the Big East. Also, congrats to Jenkins for regional MOP!

Ochefu posts Lucas and finishes with the left
Chef stuffs Ellis
Selden fouls Hart
Arch uses the screen for a 3
Reynolds challenges a drive and gets the board
Hart nails the 3

From 40-45 to 50-45 in 3 minutes
Jenkins leads the cheers from the bench.

That's the sequence we will watch over and over for years to come.

Villanova has defeated the highest-possible seed in each round, but no 2 seed has won a Final Four game after doing so since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985.

Everyone thought we'd live and die by the three. Shit, I thought we'd have to shoot "lights out" (again) to knock-off the tournament's top seed. Instead, we were cold from deep. Given how hot we've been, we were bound to come back to earth at some point; no way we could continue shooting at such a high level. Instead of "dying by the three", we go out there and win with good ole fashion defense.. smarts... toughness.. etc.

Sure, beating Iowa and Miami with a CBB version of the Golden State Warriors was incredible and extremely entertaining. But beating the top-seeded Jayhawks despite an overdue cold-streak from three is so much more impressive and satisfying. Kudos to Kansas' defense; very few easy shots. Had a big part to do with the 4-22, yet we found other ways to win.

It has to be a huge confidence booster (yea, like these guys need it).

Now it's time for Buddy Hield's long overdue cold streak.

Being 45 and a 92 alum I've seen some darn good Vu pg's ( Kenny Wison , Chris Walker, Randy , Kyle , Mike , etc) Don't think I ever watched one more important than Arch

Jay has done a great job recruiting, coaching and fielding a team. Tonight no one played great. We played great as a team. Everyone performed their role. Bringing athletes with length like Bridges, Reynolds and Booth is something Jay's never had. We can win in many ways. Nova just held KU under 60 points.

...last summer when he said (about Brunson) "He's a final four point guard".

Now he is!

Warmed my heart to see him celebrating on my TV set a few minutes ago. He deserved a Final 4, and I'm glad he's there.

Thank you SHU. a simple loss in a somewhat meaningless game ( unless you beleive the BE tourney is more important than the NCAA) took the target off of our back. I hated being a one seed last year. I also love it when all the pundits (see ESPN) pick against us from Round 2 thru 4 (and certainly 5 and 6).

Maybe the team is just as comfortable, but I prefer to be the hunter, even a highly seeded one.

Can't wait for saturday OU will think they will wipe us by 20.

Wow - congrats to the team - I am crazy fan having been a junior in 1985 but didn't go the final 4 because I didn't win the raffle and I had 5 engineering midterms the next week

30 something years later I live in Dallas and am going with my 18 year old daughter who just got into Villanova
