Coach Flinn & Crocker tweeted it's good to be a Wildcat today. This has coincided with a verbal commit shortly there after in previous months.

I'm hearing it's a DB from the DC area. I don't have a name yet. Class is looking real good if they sign them all!

Thanks for update! Rivals have a two star DB from DC listed as having interest in us.

Gang - thanks for posting.
I agree the class looks good if Cats sign them all. We only need to wait a few more weeks.

Also hearing that the Neshaminy RB is still a verbal to the 'Cats.

DB is from St. John's Prep in DC. Name?

I read in the Times-Herald (Middletown,NY) this morning, that we offered Aaron Forbes RB a ride. The kid is good but do we need another RB. Army, Maine and NH are in the mix.

Currently we have 2 verbals, he would be #3. With 3 RB's coming back, I imagine one incoming Frosh would be a slot receiver candidate, redshirted, or possibly a DB. Trust in the staff to make the right call on adding yet another RB.

His highlights looks good. This kid came on strong late in the recruiting game. Big RB (5'10, 210) compared to the other to commits. Would be a nice fit. He just received an offer from Army on Monday though and he has a former hs teammate there as well.

Hearing Lafayette was also involved. Saw a picture of him with a salute with his right hand and a V with his left.
Good get. Big back.

USMC Coach T was really high on the freshman kicker he brought in last year. College football is a lot different than high school. With only a few schollys a kicker is usually not high on the list. A great VU kicker< Hamilton, graduated in 2013. Tough to replace him.
I really like the commits we know about. Hope we sign them all.

Watch his highlight film. Ran almost exclusively from a position a yard or so behind the left tackle. Would most often circle behind the QB who pitched it to him and he would run off tackle or around end. Less frequently he would run from same spot but take an inside handoff from the QB. Most interestingly, he caught a good # of passes, and most of them were deep. Despite being the biggest of our 3 RB recruits could see him playing some slot receiver, as he showed good hands and speed.

I saw his highlight film as well. Our fans are going to love this kid
Staff does a good job every year on the recruiting trail.

Cats can never have enough RBs or receivers. 2 of top 3 RBs, Underwood and Medley missed a lot of games this season putting extra pressure on JR to run. Don't think we need to see JR average more than 10-12 carries a game next season.;

T.E. position certainly a big need. Hope he's good enough to contribute as a frosh.

VUhoops.com has a HUDL video of him posted. From the video, looks like he has great size and hands. Can't tell from the video about his speed, although it says he does the 40 in 4.6. Looks like a real nice pick up!!!

Cats need help at TE. This is good news.
However some folks refer to him as a WR. 6-5 fast , good hands
