[Advice Needed] Vacuum Storage bags for clothing

Thinking about getting some under the bed storage containers but also entertaining the idea of a hanging vacuum storage bag. I will use one for some winter coats and then another for about 20 dress shirts I don't need to wear anymore.

I have closet space, but I am now thinking that I might as well use the vacuum bags but then stick them in a bin under my bed to they are out of sight, out of mind.

Anyone have experience with the vacuum seal bags? Are they as good as advertised?
