Bad News for Simpsons Fans

They've had some pretty good episodes this season.

Here are your other network choices this Sunday at the same time Simpsons airs:

NBC - Dateline Sunday Night Mystery
ABC - Billboard Music Awards
CBS - I Love Lucy Superstar Special

"A source close to the show suggests that not only was Shearer offered the same deal as his co-stars for these additional two years, but was told he could do virtually the whole job by phone, "from anywhere in the world," to reduce his physical commitment to the job, and he declined."

Turns down about $13 mm over next two years and he doesn't even voice any of the Simpson family characters.

Must be nice to have $50 mm in the bank.

This Sunday is also the season finale:

In the Season 26 finale, Springfield Elementary modernizes but suffers a technical meltdown, and Lisa must ride to the rescue. Meanwhile, the mathletes wonder if their number is up after Groundskeeper Willie is named the new coach.

Yes strange, Shearer was in Christopher Guest's "A Mighty Wind" (2003) - a movie with a $6M total budget.

Ha. Outside of live sports and premium channels I rarely watch any cable show that isn't in a DVR queue.

I mean, him and Christopher Guest are good friends/Spinal Tap bandmates so it's not the greatest comparison.

You're really struggling with this new format, champ. Lots of your replies get stuck in other posters quotes. Maybe extra BP and shorten your swing.

South Park has been extended until 2019. That show is the gift that keeps on giving.
