seriously bro, I'm watching some old school Hogan footage and I'm not at all impressed. Barely hit 250 yards with his driver. I can hit it like 290 yards. You can talk up technology, but it's not that big a deal. He was a little bunter with the irons, lucky they played the lady's tees back in the day. 4 iron from 173 yds? Half of the Korean women's tour can hit their 4 iron two bills these days. I'm sure he was a pretty accurate player, but was he really any better than say a Cory Pavin who would also be toast in today's game against better athletes with more fine tuned swings?

Might as well compare Danny Ainge's playing ability to Steph Curry.

And look, for his time, he was great. But he didn't have the instant video feedback and ball flight simulator and expert analysis as to target points for his swing. So I give hogan some credit. But if he played today he would not be a tour player.

He's as overrated at ball striking as you are at trolling lately. Step up your game. This is poor lately. You're losing your edge in the eye of this championship.

Insanity reigns. I have seen Hogan play twelve or fifteen rounds. Has anyone on the board ever
seen Ben hit a golf ball? He had drives that he hit all-out and others he did not. I never saw him hit
a marvelous recovery shots since I can't recall him in bad trouble. Tiger Woods has been quoted
as saying that only Ben and Moe Norman owned their golf swings.

Even with not having access this season to Nova Nation I watched all of the games. A former
neighbor of mine and our local library can get it easily. Eric has tried, but Rivals does nothing
but take my money. As a twenty two year old I was a successful basket ball coach, but a horrible
English teacher. As a reporter with Pacific Stars and Stripes, I called a kid who was playing company
level level hoops a potentially great basketball player; his name was Archie Clarke and a great in college
and had an out standing NBA career. Rollie has called me twice to scout. Twice from Stony Brook and once
from VU..

Hogan was an atomic pain in the ass personally; Dan Jenkins disagrees. When Gary Player approached
Ben and asked him a question, Ben responded, "You work for Wilson. Go and ask one of their reps."
When Ben died, Byron Nelson who grew up in Fort Worth with Ben commented that he always wondered
what took Ben so long to be a great player.

I think I have another blood clot in the veins of my left leg since it now twice as large as my right leg. I'll
see my doctor on Monday. I'll be a Cat fan as long as I am on the right side of the grass. Good times for all
of you.

When was your last blood clot? Are you on anti clotting medication?

I have been on coumadin for about a year and a half for a clot down near my ankle; the swelling is now up my leg
near my knee. I'll find out when I see the doctor on Monday. I appreciate the thoughtfulness about my health which
hasn't been good for about three years. I see my plastic surgeon about skin cancers; a melanoma in 1971 almost did me
in.
