The xc schedule calls for the meet to be held at the Belmont Plateau at 9:00 in the morning on 09/13. Was it held, and did Nova participate?

First start time I read seems to be wrong. On the Penn site it says 5:30 for women and 6:00 for men.

Lots of ways of interpreting the results.

The men apparently ran almost all of their top people except for Tully - and maybe Trainer and Palmisano. They finished second to LaSalle: 34 to 47. But there was no team scoring so one could view this as a competitive workout - especially since VU's top runner, McEntee, finished 15th (VU 4th).

Good to see Basili running after that injury in the Spring.. And Solis continues to show his value and range.

Women present another set of questions. Are the six women who did not run - Lipari, Akande, Piccirillo, Margey, Schappert & Harris (in about that order) - the core and this run was an effort to determine the #7 runner? Yes, it is early in the season, but VU's top finishers are Williams (2nd) and Bungo (8th) while Venables, Chapman and Burroughs continue to disappoint. Does Gina decide to include Williams on the competitive squad or does she redshirt - as apparently planned?

Impressed that Tucker (12th) did so well. Hitherto she had been a 400/800 runner (of little note since best times were in HS). Doe this suggest that she will be a greater factor at 800 / 1600 - i.e., a breakout year? And maybe they have something in Russo (a walk-on)?

I don't know how much you can glean from a slow 6K and a moderate to slow paced 4K
