Gonna be freezing this weekend - stay inside and watch some BE basketball. Great slate on Saturday leading up to the Cats at night:
Georgetown @ Providence - 12 pm
Too strong to say it's a must win for the Friars, but they need to right the ship fast. GTown needs a quality win badly as Butler is surging. Big game for both teams. I'll take PC in a close one though, at home.
Xavier @ Butler - 2:30 pm
X doesn't need it, but again here's a team that could use a win to stabilize things before the tournament. X is looking at a top 2-3 seed if they can get a few wins together. Butler is coming together at the right time -- coming off a huge win on the road at Seton Hall the other night. I don't see a line on this one, but my guess is that it is close to a pick, maybe Bulldogs a slight favorite. Give me the Bulldogs at home in a really close game.
Creighton @ Marquette - 8 pm
Probably an elimination game for two teams on the outside looking in. I don't think the loser can do enough down the stretch to earn a bid. Both with big wins last week, but both need more. Marquette wins at home behind their length and home crowd to march on.
