Lots of good things. To me, the women's DMR was the most interesting. They came in second, but there were two times I thought were meaningful. Lipari ran the 800 in 2:05 and Akande ran the 1600 in 4:40.

I don't know what they're thinking as far as individual events, but if Nova wanted to go to ND and qualify a DMR for the NCAA's, a team of Akande 1200, Verdier 400, Lipari 800, and Mimic 1600 might be very competitive.

At Penn this spring, Mimic, Verdier, Lipari, and Reid could be difficult to beat. The 800 leg has been a problem for years; I was wondering when they might run Lipari there.

Until her brother reminded her, I think Emily ran under 2:10 until the last part of her senior year at Rosyln. Niki's improvement has been unreal. What did Coach G. know?

Villanova loses a ton of points in the men's sprints. It wouldn't be a horrible thing to try to recruit a few football players..

Little things like that really cost the team. They need to basically win the 4x8 and do really well in the 4x4 to win.

Women third behind Georgetown and Cinncy. Lipari looked very good this weekend. Overall, Akande and Schappert ran well.

Infeld looks like she is going to give Reid a hard time outdoors. She had a great meet.

What has happened to the Georgetown men's program?

I'm really interested to see if the women run the DMR at ND and who they line up.

Agree, immed. future I think Reid's event is 5K and long term it is the 10K. Similar career progression to many elite distance runners. They move up in distance and as the get older, mature, and grow stronger.
