Bush Tanks in SC

Jeb bush spent $84 mill in special interest money in advertisements.
Trump? $8 mill

Even Rubio is up at $49 mill

The people want Donald

Why is it great that Jeb drops out? Just wondering what your thought process is here.

The only repub I'd be truly happy to see drop out is Trump.

So many riveting choices here if you're Rep or Dem. Mitt Romney has to be kicking himself.

Adp, looks like Hillary isn't dead yet in the DEM race and Rubio's consolidation is still "a work in progress". Thoughts?

I don't think anyone predicted HRC was dead in the Dem race. She'll win the primary and limp in as a very wounded candidate. Which was what I said all along.

Good night for Rubio. Beats Cruz, Bush done that will further consolidate support. He needs a strong Nevada and then on to the SEC primary. Hopefully Trump and Cruz beat each other up and Rubio continues to consolidate support.

Hard to determine how informed of current events voters are and how they determine who to vote for. When only 32 % of the voting population ever heard of Scalia you realize why the founders preferred a Republic instead of a democracy.
Illegal immigration is affecting every state financially but the change in the Constitution allowing the direct election of senators has eliminated the states participation in the federal process. Trump has touched a nerve with Americans citizens.

Odds to win the dem election:
Hillary -400
Bern +250

GOP
Donald -150
Rubio +300

General Election
HRC +115
Donald +250

Wasn't Bernie +1500 or so just two weeks ago? HRC should be a much bigger number. Amazing how someone who was up 50 points a few months ago is in such a tight primary race with a guy who was recently became a Democat..

+500. Still a huge gap, especially when you look at the Wednesday polls where Hillary leads them all "handily". That number will only expand after Bernie failed to win Nevada.

Wow, great opportunity here to go long Rubio and short Bern. Very difficult for Bern to win given the delegate situation. Rubio is in far better shape.

Hilary vs Trump will be the most watched Presidential debates of all time. Ratings will be thru the roof.

I think the end for Trump is in sight now.

Very excited to see Rubio battle back last night, obviously picked up a lot of support that may have gone to Jeb or Christie in earlier primaries, that will continue now with Jeb out officially. Also, have to think the sort of people who are voting Kasich and Carson (not a small number of votes given the margins in play with this many candidates, Donald stll only around 1/3 of the votes) will disproportionately break for Rubio over Trump or Cruz once those guys drop, can't see a ton of them being attracted to the other two.

Rubio will pick up those votes and pass Cruz as the primaries wear on.

Question then becomes, if Rubio can best Cruz, where do those votes go? Again, have to think those voters break disproportionately for Rubio over Trump, even if not as markedly as in the case of Carson, Kasich. Rubio has a much better trust factor for the evangelical and hard core conservative types voting Cruz now.

If all this happens, there are enough votes to put Rubio ahead of Trump or at least make it a dead heat. Tons of cash flow that had been going to the other guys will be Rubio's, he'll be the nominee eventually.
