I just picked up a Pax 2, have you tried this? My friend had the original Pax and I was about to order that when I saw the new one just came out. I am still getting used to it and trying to maximize its efficiency but so far I have been very happy with it. It is very covert so it can be used anywhere. I would highly recommend it.

Got the DaVinci little over a year ago. loved it, but a couple of weeks back it wouldnt charge. something up with the jack on the unit. not really sure how to go about mailing something like that after it's been used. just accepted that it's over. not much recourse. buddy has had his going strong for a few years now, so i guess it was bad luck.

I don't recall having tried the Pax2, maybe if ine of my friends had it. I still consume the old school way with j's or bubblers.
