Why does nobody wash their cars, ever? It's winter, and there is salt everywhere. People's cars are covered in salt that will literally ruin them. All you need to do is spray it with a hose and wash it off.
Even when the weather is nice, maybe 1/10 cars you see on the road is actually taken care of. And the weird thing is, people with nice cars don't seem to do any better with this than people with crummy cars. I see tons of high end luxury cars (always in black, the toughest color to take care of) that aren't that old but look like they've been through Iraq. And when people do get their cars washed, they invariably end up with swirl marks and all this nonsense that makes the paint look even worse, and my personal favorite, that garbage tire shine that makes your tires turn brown after a few uses.
How hard is it to get your car detailed 1-2 times a year? It makes all the difference in the world.
