Cobb's Creek Clubhouse Remembered

The clubhouse at Cobb's Creek burned down. I played this track once when I was at Nova before I knew anything about public courses in the area. It was, by far, the crummiest course I've ever played. You had to aim for the rough because the fairways were just burned out dirt. There wasn't a single sprinkler on the entire property.

I see that it's managed by Billy Casper Golf now, which also manages the county courses where I currently live, so maybe it's gotten better.
 
It is actually considered a hidden gem by a lot of people. There is a group of golf nerd types dedicated to restoring it to its former glory.
 
That's good news. It was the only time I have ever run into a bum on the golf course. I think it has a lot of gr8 history and deserves to be restored.
 
Knew some guys that played there that got jumped by a bum with a gun.

Obama wouldnt be too pleased as that gun was probably not registered.
 
Did they find any Phour for Forer's in the building as a mass suicide due to the CoP's shitty pro sports teams?
