It is very obvious that the committee catered to the traditional powerhouse programs. Izzo got his short trip, UNC doesn't have to worry about Villanova in Philly, and Boeheim ended up in the field even though it clearly was not deserved.
Meanwhile we passed up a ton of money to reduce the number of games we played at Wells Fargo (so it WOULDNT be considered our home court come selection Sunday). Obviously it was more important to the NCAA that their darling ACC team not be challenged by a potential matchup against Villanova in Philly.
The Big East is clearly not respected by the committee. I would not be surprised if our early exits from the tournament the past couple of years have a big part to play in that.
Time to flip the script and crap all over their plans. The only solution to this problem is to win. If we prove that we are a team that will definitely be playing in the second weekend of the tournament... Maybe the committee will start taking that into consideration.
