W&M lost to Delaware. with most of our Oline back-4 of 5 , Zach having another week to build on and the Frosh backs and receivers, I feel better about our chances sat. Tom

The W&M conference loss to UD is good and bad for Nova. Good because it gives a title contender a conference loss, Bad because it makes their game with Nova a must win game. Two conference losses knocks them out of title chase.

Need to take 2 of 3 from Virginia CAA schools. I think W&M is a must game for Villanova although 1 out of 3 is still a possibility.

It's been a crazy year in FCS so far. 7-4 will probably get you in, but 8-3 ensures it.

JMU 5-0
Richmond 3-1
New Hampshire 3-2
Villanova 2-2
William & Mary 2-2

Delaware is building their program and its starting to take form. They have brought in massive offensive & defensive linemen the past few years. They have only 7 seniors on the roster.

The Battle of the Blue trophy won't be a given to Villanova the next few years.

No CAA team will beat JMU.

The Villanova players will show up for the next few Delaware games.

even with vad lee being careless with the ball - until last weekend's win over stony brook - jmu is still putting up 600/700 yards a game.

their o-line is playing at another level. two straight games without giving up a sack and i think only 1 negative yardage running play. that's just insane. 3 guys averaging over 100 rushing yards per game. defense full of playmakers (and set to get another stud d-lineman back from suspension in a couple games). team is loaded with soph/jr's, so if they can find someone to give 75% of what vad is giving them they'll be tough to beat again next season.

but yeah, their offense is just a joy to watch right now.
