ridiculous they can't go back and review that face mask call and reverse it.

PI is relatively subjective, but that didn't seem to be PI. defensive back was looking at the ball and it hit him in. he was in position to catch it, despite contact with the receiver.

getting flagged 15 yards and giving up an un-timed down on something that unequivocally didn't happen is another story.

Lions fans saying that wasn't PI is rich. Pretty similar to the non-call vs the Cowboys last year that they complained about. If not PI it should have been illegal contact at least.

Can we just all agree that the total inability to properly officiate NFL games is hurting everyone's enjoyment of it?
Particularly the convoluted catch rules and subjective penalties without review.

The eagles sucking the last 3 weeks is what has ruined my enjoyment of the NFL.

I think what is ruining my enjoyment is 1) the modification of rules in crazy ways to protect certain players (QBs and WRs) at the expense of the way we all grew up watching football - pass interference needs to actually be a FOUL not just bullsh&t incidental contact and 2) the CONSTANT desire to have everything PERFECT when bad calls have been a part of the game for decades. I hate instant replay, just makes long games even longer and I think it has made officials lazier

Totally agree.
And as if you don't get enough replay during official replay challenges, they replay every play several times just to kill time huddles. Injury? Let's re-watch it 10 times to determine exactly when he got hurt and which ligament it was.

4 for 4'er post of the day.

Thank you! Badge of honor today. what I really expected (as soon as I hit post reply) was to see someone say "the eagles sucking the last 3 years" with a "fixed" label underneath. I knew I set myself up for that response. Guilty as charged.
