At least 3 different times this post season I have heard Jay say "we want to win a national championship". I do not remember him ever saying that before. In fact a couple years ago there was a debate about how Jay publicly under-sold the importance of winning a NC. I could be wrong but I definitely sense a different Jay this post season. I don't know if it's his evolution as the head coach of a team that has been ranked top 10 for 3 years, or finally being #1 in the country. In fact I recall reading on here some people felt Jay valued winning the BET more than a NC. Has anyone else sensed the same thing? Could also be the fact there is no elite team this year.
