Surprised that none of the North Jersey BW's haven' said anything about Don Bosco slapping St Joe's Prep 55-21 on Sat. It was 36-7 at half. The Prep is/was ranked #1 in the Philly area.

It's a given that PA HS football is a joke compared to north jersey. Happens every year when SJUHS, Malvern, etc decide to schedule them.

Bergen off to an impressive start w blowout wins over St Peters prep and Heritage (FL)

I mean, when 50 of the best 100 players in a given state go to three or four different Catholic schools, they tend to be pretty competitive against anyone. Bosco and Bergen Catholic are basically football magnet schools, which is why they don't compete in state tournaments against public schools.

Nunzio's playcalling has been aggressive and sound thus far. Even playing w/out frosh sensation Josh Mackenzie they handled last year's state champ and #1 team in the state this past weekend. Big game against nationally ranked IMG next weekend in Oradell.

Josh McKenzie's entire life story is a symptom of a societal disease.

I watched the game on tape because I had to break down the stats. DB on another level. Foye is correct, tho. Talent is spread around in SE PA level. All the good players go to 3-4 good teams in that area.

Bosco is maybe the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big North conference this year. Bergen and St Joe's Regional are the leaders of the pack at the moment. Malvern Prep, SJUPAHS, LaSalle HS have all been on the losing end of every matchup w the North Jersey parochials. Your argument abou talent being spread does't hold weight. You have 6 large pivate schools in North Jersey alone (Bergen, Bosco, SJR, St Peters, DePaul, Paramus Catholic) plus there are still many players at the local publics that are very tallented. I can't see how the private schools in PA are any different in terms of who the draw with the exception of not being a destination school as the north jersey privates have become.

Pretty sure the top two or three prospects in NJ this year are all public school kids no?
