The trend continued under Bush Sr. although not quite at the same clip but still pretty strong. Trend actually dropped a bit under Clinton but he certainly benefitted from the tech boom and also Bush's tax increases (yes tax increases and smart ones). Than 8 years of W, and the debt and budgets continued to zoom. why did the conservatives/ tea baggers decide to protest outrageous debt and blame it all on Obama literally in Februay of 09. Where were they the previous 19 years? Serious question.
