I really enjoyed it last night, the new format was a huge improvement. It was an exciting finish, Todd Frazier really had a flair for the dramatic. Joc Pederson has such a smooth swing. He has crazy power. He is going to be a great player as he develops his all around game.

And you're right Pederson is going to be a stud with that smooth swing.
I didn't think anyone over the age of 12 actually watched that garbage.
A lot of his HRs in the first round didn't even seem like they were going to be gone. The ball just jumped off his bat. The camera work was terrible though overall. And I have never been bothered by Chris Berman - but he was atrocious last night. Tim Kurkjian sounded like he was hammered. He couldn't speak without slurring his words.

I don't follow Baseball overall like I used too, but I guess Joc Pederson is starting due to votes? I haven't looked at other OF stats but he is in there due to his HR total? He only has 40 RBis on 20 hrs... only 69 hits overall (30% of hits homers), Batting .230 with 107 ks.... not all star material in my book
His RBIs are low because he's mostly been batting either in the leadoff spot or the 8th spot (which he mostly batted in the beginning of the season). He's also been one of the better defensive CFs in all of baseball this season. What's been interesting is that he was thought to be a pretty good speed/power guy and he's really struggled stealing bases, big power but almost no SBs (think he has two in the first half and maybe five caught stealings, something like that).

Marlon Byrd stole 40 bags in A ball. Victorino couldn't steal a base in the majors until Davy Lopes showed up.

Coming from Bucks County back then, I actually always enjoyed picking up 206 outside Trenton to the AC area and avoiding 95/Whitman or other bridge/42 mess near beginning of AC expressway, for rough times of day/week for traffic. Sometimes did the same down 322 or whatever it is over the bridge in Chester when I found myself down that way. you people are pu$$ies and need to learn how to hold your water a little bit if you'd rather sit in traffic with a bunch of jagoffsthan drive one of those routes.
