Increased security for CoP's (arguably) premier cultural event

Not the Wing Bowl, but the Mummers parade will have increased security due to a theoretical threat of a terrorist attack.

Does anyone outside of South Philly/South Jersey care/know about this event? What kind of prestige would it bring ISIS to attack a parade where the only people who care about said parade are the ones "marching" in it.
