Something that is just as bothersome to me as the three point shooting debate. Is the rebounding issue a symptom of something else?
Is this team soft?
It's hard to tell based on a slew of double digit wins over weak opponents. It's even harder to imagine with a guy like Hart and a scrapper like Arch on the squad. But even against a number of bad teams our rebounding has been weak. To me, that is a sign of a team that isn't terribly tenacious.
It's one thing to outshoot somebody, but is this team capable of imposing its will on another team? Is this just the feel of a jumpshooting team? To be honest, despite being creamed by Oklahoma, I didn't ever have the feeling we were dominated. Just outshot. I'd take my chances again versus them.
Note: This isn't an overreaction to a single loss. I waited 4 days. This is based on every game we've played. Granted, the most recent game is likely stuck in my mind.
