Got tossed last night and screamed at the ump. He's had a nice bounceback year.
You kind of forget about him with the Cabrera and Trout crushing it every year, but he's a stud. Leading the NL in walks for the 4th time in 5 years. Arak would argue that he's hurting his team, but I would like to see him play for a respectable franchise and be in the limelight. Unfortunately, he's got one of those crazy "$25 mill a year till he's 40 contracts", so we'll probably never see it.

That is the second time this season that he got tossed and lost his marbles against the pirates this year.

The Reds lineup was pretty gr8 when Votto and Choo were at the top of it. OBP machines.

Votto has had a tremendous year. He has the best eye in baseball, no question about that. I just was not a huge fan of his approach at times. He seems to have either altered that a bit this year, or gotten more pitches to hit - maybe because of Frazier batting before/behind him at times? His slugging % is way up - back to his MVP type seasons. I would still take Paul Goldschmidt over him and even Miggy. But Votta is a great ball player.
