I'm sure he feels relieved.

You don't see many milers these days like Don Paige with top-end 800 speed. They are more the 5k types who can drop down and gut out a sub-4 time.

I'd argue that Don Paige was a half miler with endurance, sort of like Andrew Wheating or Nick Symmonds.
