Nova commit Justin Moore acquitted himself well at the USA Basketball U18 tryouts last week, and was rewarded with a spot in the final 18 after the field was whittled down from the 33 players who attended the camp.
Moore will now try to secure a spot on the final roster of 12, which will be announced this week ahead of the team's departure for the FIBA Americas U18 Championship. The Championship will be held from June 10-16, with the top four teams qualifying for the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup.
In addition to Moore, Nova targets Cole Anthony, Jalen Lecque, and Armando Bacot also made the final 18.
