Kicking may have cost us a chance to win. Who knows what decisions were made because of the 1 point difference. Likely it would have gone into OT, and then flip a coin given how the two teams were playing. John R didn't have his usual game. The wet ball and his cast may have played a part in his missing some throws he typically makes. Continually having to pick the ball off his shoe tops also didn't help. All that said, give credit to Richmonds D. They contained John R's running, and his usual accuracy was, as mentioned, was a bit off. It's tough to go on the road and win against a good team that had to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Surprisingly, there is little margin for error left. Any of the 3 teams left are capable of beating us if we don't play well. Have to win all 3 to have any hope for a playoff bye. Most likely that hope is gone with today's loss.
