AL Cy Young champ had a rough start (0-5, 5.04 ERA) but last night he pitched 8 shutout innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out an absurd eighteen Cardinals.

Francona took him out at 105 pitches.

Yeah, because managers stop managing when they are ejected to their office 20 ft from the dugout.

Torn on this one. Not sure this is "cheating" in the traditional sense in that it didn't occur during competition or affect game used equipment. But much more psychotic to assault an opponent so they can't play at all. Couldn't she have just swapped her skates out with dull blades at the last second? Definite cheating but no jail time or loss of humanity.

What about the Chinese olympic teams using underage gymnysts and divers? Does that qualify, SES?

Yes that's cheating. If there are established rules regarding age limits.

Maiming or murdering an opponent violates more of a morality and legal code more than just sports rules. Much worse obviously.
