Sounds like there is the potential for this to be a very good year. We're missing Karalunas, but I think we return almost everyone else.

Never played Lacrosse in my life but it is a nice feather in the cap of Villanova Athletics to have another team doing well. I would love to see this program take off and become a mainstay (especially as our relevance on the national stage is so questionable going forward). Glad to see the Cats and our athletics doing well.

BK is gone. Without him the defense for the first time in several years may not have assassin take away defender. This probably means fewer transition scoring opportunities and less ability to get the ball back if the team falls behind. Look for Creighton to step up on defense too this season. That said the team will have very good goaltending and a very solid team defensive unit to go along with what should be an very exciting offensive unit that has alot of speed and scores alot of goals. Expect some high scoring and exciting games!

Great win yesterday vs Bucknell. Very nice crowd on hand in the freezing cold to see the Cats beat a very good Bucknell team in OT. Great tailgating and atmosphere all around. Gonna be a fun year.
