Lisa is on the Croation national team, which recently qualified to play in the summer olympics. A big deal. You have to play in to qualify. I believe a total of 10-12 teams are in. Congrats. Great player.

Thanks for the update. A reason to actually watch some of the games this year. My daughter's friend played on the US Olympic field hockey team the last time and it was kind of neat to see someone you know play on the international stage. I assume that Lisa was born in Croatia and has dual citizenship? DId her older sister ever play on their national team?

Thanks terry. Great link. Lisa's dad was born in Croatia and her mom was born in Italy (very northeast). She had some playing time against the U.S.

Tough to start out against the USA. My mother was born in Ireland giving me dual citizenship.
