Mark Armstrong has reaffirmed his commitment to Villanova after Jay Wright's retirement, with NJ Advance Media's Adam Zagoria first confirming the news.

Jay Wright said "We've got outstanding recruits coming in and they're staying."

New head coach Kyle Neptune says he's talked to each of the recruits and will continue those talks over the next few days.

Villanova's 2022 class is an elite one and keeping it intact would be huge. Having one member on record confirming his commitment is a great start.

We'll await official word from Cam Whitmore and Brendan Hausen. As we reported last night, Whitmore was at Thursday night's 2021-22 season banquet, along with Armstrong.
