I project an 18-12 record 9-7 in CUSA


I dont count the d2 game because the NCAA doesnt.

I have us undefeated at Home in the non-conference.

That shouldnt get us a sniff at the NIT. (Few, if any, quality wins)

Maybe not even one of the "buy" tournaments.

I think away teams have to pay their own expenses and home teams make little or nothing despite hosting the game.

I have no idea if we would partcipate if asked. Im inclined to think we would say yes if we got a home game first.

Szczur sent down

Sorry to say that Matt was sent down to Triple A Iowa yesterday. He was 2 for 10 in limited action. Hopefully he'll be back to the Bigs soon.

the Cubs have so many good young prospects on the big league team and in the minors its going to be very hard for Matt to stick with the big league team. i wish him luck and hope he finds a way to enjoy the experience.

i was out in Wrigley for two games last Sept and the Friday game Matt got some time in CF. must be a heck of a feeling running out on the grass at Wrigley and playing center field. maybe the coolest park in the majors.
