Fun game to watch. Navy QB is spectacular running that triple option. Broke two national records today. Most yards gained by a QB, 4551, and most TD's 88. What also made the game fun to watch was that only 1 Yellow Flag was thrown, (except for an on purpose delay of game) a 15 yd. holding penalty on Navy in 4th Q. Can't remember if I've ever seen a game with only 1 penalty. Congrats to both teams and the stripped shirts. Regarding Pitt, they will be a very tough opener. Loaded with good Freshmen and Soph's. On offensive two deep there were only 2 Seniors. On defensive 2 deep only 5 Seniors. A freshman running back won ACC Offensive Rookie Player of the year award. A freshman safety won the same award for Defense. Have no idea how good their Recruiting for next year is at this point, regardless looks like they will be loaded going into next year.

I really like Navy's team. However they had 32 seniors on team compared to 10 for Pitt. And I think only two of those 10 were impact players for Pitt. Pitt is very big, very young. They closed season at 8 -5. They will be loaded next season. Really tough opener for our guys. Next week after Cats, the hated PSU comes into play Pitt.

Would love to open against Navy....especially next year; they will be a .500 team at best; lose a lot of guys. Pitt will be a lot better next year and Nova will probably open 0-1 again.

Chances at Pitt are slim and none. That being said, VU will very likely be a playoff contender in FCS with a better record then 6-5,

the GT coach this year had trouble year with he ran his version of the bone that is similar to Navy's. Regardless
of the QB is, the Middies will be tough next year. They execute to perfection and always will. I am partial to Navy
since one of my uncles was USNA 1920, and he started our V-12 program in 1943.

Navy loses to many players to be really good again next season.
BTW Navy and Houston today are the only teams from their conference to win a bowl game. Conference went 2 -. 6.
I too am partial.to Navy. Was a fan years before becoming a Marine. I like the Houston football program. Neither team played Temple this past regular season. Not next season either.
