once the final four ends you'll have:

Winslow
Okafur
T Jones
Lyles
Harrison(s)
towns
Cauley Stein
Lee (maybe)
Booker

Dunn needs one more year. I saw Cotton was getting time in the NBA.

Dunn would be nuts to return. Guy's had a history of injuries. He's a lock first-rounder. Go get your guaranteed money. Be stunned if he returned.

Agree. Playing with that cast of characters isn't going to make him better. Fair point about being injured significantly once already. If they tell him he's a 1st-Rd pick, then he goes. As should just about everyone.

The Arizona guys should be delcaring soon, too.

and the cycle continues all the good players leave making college hoops all about next years crop of freshman.

makes me think how lucky we are to actually have the games current stars in the final four this year. def got the top 3 best teams. not sure if MSU is a top 4 team but they are darn good.

MSU doesn't have top four talent, but they are a veteran club (5 jr/sr regulars) that has played in a lot of big games, in one of the better leagues. They are also supremely coached by one of the best in the country. Not sure there is a NBA player on that roster. And if ther eis then it's probably just a backend of roster type guy.

Michal Frazier - Jr. G from Florida, Only 12+ ppg,, but I guess he doesn't want to play on another .500 FL team next year.

Valentine is a pro and could leave early at MSU.

50/50 at best and no better than a 2nd RD pick. Maybe he has an unforgettable F4 that cements his game into the minds of scouts.

Kansas loses Oubre jr to the draft.

i think Kansas may have had more one and dones under Self than Cal at UK over the last 5 years.

That's just silly. 3 years ago he had a team with 5 starting seniors.

Xavier Henry
Ben McLemore
Oubre
Embiid
Wiggins

yeah i was way off, felt like more for some reason.

Cal has (at UK)

Wall
Cousins
Davis
Gilchrist
Towns (def leaving)
Bledsoe
Brandon Knight
Teague
goodwin
Noel
Randle
Young
Orton
Kanter (kind of )
Booker (most likely)
Lyles (most likely)

Chris McCollough from Cuse. He blew out his knee so I assume he's a lock for the Sixers with one of those late picks.

i get the WHY thing.

for Fraser and Rivera they get nothing from one more year of school. play in the D league for a year, get paid something and get exposure to NBA coaching , games, and players. its like the minor leagues. i like the idea of leaving for the D league if thats what you want. better than wasting time in college making money for the coaches while you get a fake degree from Georgetown.

Have you guys seen this Skal Labissiere kid who is going to Kentucky next year? His family moved to the US after the earthquake in Haiti. Incredible talent. Looks like a blend of Durant and Garnett. Apparently outplaying Thon Maker on the circuits right now.

The NBA is getting more and more globalized. Obviously a lot of these kids are coming to the states but the talent pool is just so much bigger than it used to be- and these kids from poorer countries seem to have a one track mind

Saw that earlier. They will be very good again next year. My sense is that there is too much chatter about changing the rule these days - I think it will be addressed in the coming months here. In lieu of that, I think you will see a lot more kids go get paid for the year than go to college. Betting Maker is headed that way.

they dont have to attend college. they can go pro in Europe or anywhere overseas. they just cant play in the NBA or NBA D league until what would be their freshman year of college is over. its not that complicated.

college offers them the most exposure to NBA scouts. whats one year of "prep" in college to these kids?

no good can come for anyone being out anywhere at 4AM.

My favorite part of this story is that it involves players from separate teams hanging out together at 4 AM. I realize this is the new NBA but it must drive old school coaches insane.

my favorite part is the Atlanta Hawks players trying to block the police from doing their jobs. three people get stabbed but dont snitch on who did it.

Harrison's arent pros. I dont think Tyus Jones is either and he'll be a high pick. Not a good enough athlete for a 6'1 kid. Reminds me of Tyler Ennis.

My guess is that Calipari didn't even give the Harrison's the opportunity to return.

You hear Calipari's statements on these guys after they lost? More he spoke the more obvious it was he was pushing them out the door. Thou doth sell too much.

I actually agree with this. They should have left last year. IMO they were just mediocre on this years teams with all the talent.

im surprised its taking this long for the UK and Duke players to declare.

i think Rondae is a lottery pick.

Nice recruiting tool for Kentucky. Useless event but great for their recruiting.

Burrs agree with most of what you have up there except Vincent Hunter belongs in the 1st/2nd round category.

and the Harrisons.

so the hoops summit this weekend will be a chance for all the uncommited players to pick UK.

Admittedly, I don't know much about Hunter. I read that he was ranked as 30th best soph on draftexpress, so to me that sounded like not being drafted material.

The Harrisons will probably be 2nd RD picks. I'd say 70% chance of that. 15% chance of not being drafted. 15% that one of them sneaks into the end of 1st RD with some good workouts.
