Since it's been a few days not talking about the NFL....

Just heard rumor of Bradford going to CLE for Johnny Football and Cleveland's #1. (12 overall)

Yea, heard that one earlier in the week. Part of me still believes that the Eagles are still going to make a run at Mariota. Not sure if something like that helps that cause or if that trade is even believable.

I see Mike Mayock just changed his mock draft and rated Mariota as his top player in the draft. So much for dropping

if Chip can get the 12th overall pick AND Manziel for Sam Bradford, thats a good deal

granted, the Eagles might then be screwed at QB, but who knows? maybe he can send 12 and 20 to move up for Mariota?

Yep. I mean hey, it's the NFL and anything can happen, but if TEN passes on him while they trot out Zach Mettenberger, everyone there should be S canned immediately.

I do not think the Eagles are near done wheeling and dealing though. Nor are a few other teams. Mariota's stock seems to have returned to where it should have been all along to a league that relies so much on the QB position. He may not have played a pro style game yet, but when you look at all the other aspects of what makes for a high end NFL QB these days - he's the total package. Athlete, size, arm, speed, work ethic and brain.

if they acquire 12th to go along with 20th, they certainly can

something along the lines of Kendricks, 12th, 20th, and maybe a 2nd next year or something
