It certainly looks like Villanova will at the very least explore the transfer market. After reports indicated the Cats had expressed interest in Princeton transfer Jaelin Llewellyn, there are now reports there is also interest in Texas transfer Courtney Ramey.
Ramey was ranked 42nd in the class of 2018 by Rivals and played four seasons for the Longhorns. Across those four seasons he averaged 10 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 39.2% shooting overall, 36.5% from 3 and 73.7% from the free throw line. His best season was his junior campaign in 2020-21, when he averaged 12.2 points, 3.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds while hitting 41.4% from 3 on 4.5 attempts per game. He earned All-Big 12 honors that season.
Something else to keep an eye on as we head into the spring/summer.
