I just had an excellent golf weekend with 7 buddies in the Brooksville area of Florida (played both World Woods courses and two private ones at Black Diamond Ranch and Southern Hills Plantation) - highly recommend if anyone is planning one for Florida.
Now we are planning one for next year already (probably around October) but need some input on some places where we can go on a budget, say around $600 for four rounds and lodging. Looking to go within driving distance from NJ but just not familiar with other courses in the northeast. We've already done Atlantic City and Poconos areas. Now considering Turning Stone resort in NY - if anyone has played here, would appreciate input.
Basically, it does not have to be a resort but just a cluster of four quality courses close to one another.
