I am planning a vacation in Lake George in mid July. Looking for a place with things to do for kids ranging from 4 to 8.
Basically I want to bring the kids somewhere with our neighborhood friends ... have a few beers at night and then do kids things all day.
I know there is a water park...so that will kill a day. If it's a place to rent bikes, canoes, fishing rods ... then that will kill another day. Anything else I'm missing?
But would like to know if there is a particular town that is walkable, restaurant(s), with nice sleeping arrangements.
