Watch that game tonight. Very competitive and interesting game. Ending was a Holy Cow special. Glad to see ND win. Question for those of you who follow the womens game, are the ND guards the best guard tandem in the nation? They were really impressive tonight. I had know about and seen Tyler Degan ? before, and she is simply outstanding. The other guard, McBride ?, was also outstanding tonight. She was knocking down all types of shots. Both of them can play the game.

USMCO1: Usually pull for the underdog. Game at UCONN with 10-12,000 of their faithful on hand to root them on to yet another victory. OOOPS! Add Geno to the mix and it was easy to root for the ladies from ND. ND really played smart and tough. Very impressive, especially their 2 guards. A very enjoyable game to watch.

I never thought much of Geno as a coach, he always had the most dominant player in the game with Byrd, Turasi and Moore. Now he doesnt have that and his teams are still really good just not as dominant as they used to be. That being said his players made a lot of bad passes last night and that final one was awful. he also had 2 timeouts left and saw nothing good was coming once his player drove baseline, he could have used one there. gotta get the last shot in a tie game. you have to.

Talk about home cookin, the refs swallowed the whistle on that last ND possession, who got MUGGED and no call, refs thought they would force OT. That plan backfired when ND got a wide open layup with 2 seconds left, talk about an OOOPS by the refs and Uconn. Stunned silence in what couldn't have been a more painful loss for Uconn, other than deep in the NCAA tournament. Loved it and am always glad to see anyone beat Uconn and Geno.

Next year the league can emerge from the shadows of Uconn and ND dominating all. Wonder where they put the women's BET next season? No more cash cow in Hartford anymore.

ak3883: Didn't bother to mention the officiating. To be diplomatic, it was not at all helpful to ND. Despite that they just kept playing. Impressed the way they kept, for the most part, their composure. They got shaky in the last 2 minutes giving up that 6 point lead, but made the play to win when they had to.
