Hershey hung close with Milton Hershey (tied after 3 I believe) and then Milton Hershey blew them out in the 4th. Milton Hershey is 10-0 and very small and quick and wore them down.
Painter was great to watch!! He must have had 25 pts. Probably 15 boards. Bunch of blocks and one of the sickest tomahawk jams I've seen in high school. It was awesome. Brought the house down.
What I really loved was his motor and attitude. Never sulked when his team's guards struggled against the MHS press and constant pressure. He came back to get the ball at midcourt and was a good outlet to beat the press. I loved where he kept the ball up high and never had the littler guys strip. He had terrific outlet passes for a high school kid as well. Grabbed the ball with 2 hands on the boards and got it out.
His FT shooting is fantastic. I bet he was 8 for 9 or 8 for 10. Nice soft stroke. That is huge as big guys will get to to the line plenty. Probably the only area he struggled was outside shooting. Not sure how good he is with this but took two 3's and missed (1 an airball) and missed a few other 15 footers. But he had great moves with the ball and 1 time dribbled coast to coast and had an And 1 bucket. Loved how he kept yelling let's go D! Passion is great at this age b/c it shows they want to play. It's a shame his team doesn't offer much help. When he gets a hold of our strength and conditioning , this kid will be a BE player. Glad we got him
