A couple of weeks ago, I bought a "Nova #1 in the Country" tee shirt. There is nothing unusual about that because over half of my wardrobe is Nova gear. But, since I didn't know how long we would be #1, I decided to wear the shirt every day when I go out (and yes, I laundered it every night). I used tp get an occasional comment on my gear, but this last few weeks, strangers stopped me several times to talk about Nova. One elderly lady who was probably in her 80's stopped me and told me she has followed Nova since the 1950's and doesn't miss a game on TV. Another guy told me he moved here from California a few years ago and never heard of Nova, but now is a avid fan and he used to be a UCLA fan. I felt like giving him a medal. My sister and brother in law never liked basketball, but now have become tremendous fans even though they don't live near hear. Only a couple of people brought up the supposed "choke" problem in March.
My point in all of this is that the exposure we are getting and will continue to get is really paying off.
