Let's revolve this one around the Big Piece. Six game home stand vs FL/ATL. Scheduled to face five RHPs. So, he'll probably get the night off versus Alex Wood, but you never know with Sandburg.

Over/UNDER???

HRs: .5
HITS: 4.5
RBIs: 3.5
BBs: 1.5
K's: 6.5 (Added)
AVG: .225

Discuss.....

Over HR, under the rest.

Give me the over for them all. I think he goes deep tonight off Haren.

What!?!? Another thread about a bad team and bad player? I'm in!

I'm with Arak. Over on all.

Fixed....

Dmil, seriously....Just trying to have a little fun in an otherwise dark era of Phillies' baseball. Please, bear with me throughout the year and please do participate. Your input is always welcomed. Besides this board isn't exactly shattering records with great threads these days.

Update:

Howard is 3-for-17 lifetime vs Haren. 2 HRs, 5 RBIs, 1 BB, And 10 K's.

Absolutely. I wanted to have K's as part of the o/u totals, but forgot. Not sure how...

K's: 6.5

I'm having fun Deal with it.

Over on HR's and K's, under everything else. Like this feature. Cap tip burrs. Can I also get a desmond error tracker. 3 game set vs. Cards. Begins now

Update:

HR: 1
Hits: 2
RBIs: 2
BB: 1
K: 1
AVG: .667

Final totals:

HRs: .5 = 3 - OVER
HITS: 4.5 = 4 - UNDER
RBIs: 3.5 = 7 - OVER
BBs: 1.5 = 2 - OVER
K's: 6.5 = 3 - UNDER
AVG: .225 = .235 (4-17) - OVER

Not a bad week for the Big Piece. Made more contact, had better ABs, and had some hard outs.

Since when is 4 hits over 4.5? Looking forward to version 3.0 of this game. I use these lines at work for side bets.

I think he's turning corner

Unlikely.

Speaking of turning the corner, but will the Nats do such soon? Something tells me the ADP household has caution tape wrapped around the dining room table.

My bad on the error.....

Have the side bets reaped any profits?

I'm thinking about doing one revolved around Chase Utley.

Mostly losses so far (usually bet lunch or some type of beverage). I had pegged the phils for 33 runs over that 10 game stretch. I negotiated a 30.5 run O/U with the CEO of my company, he took the under though. Had special clauses for guessing the exact amount of runs for increased odds.

Burrs, they are guarding the bridges near Nats Park. Yesterday I took my oldest to the store, when we went it Werth just fanned on 4 pitches (swung at one pitch during the AB) to leave the tying run on third. As we got back in the car, Nats down 6-2. My son, "daddy, why do the Nats stink"? I told him to become a Dodgers fan. Just tell everyone you really like listening to Vin Scully.

ADP, good story....

I'm sure they'll right the ship at some point. The starting pitching should cover for the flaws they have in other areas.

Their problem is at the moment they are not a good baseball team. You must catch the ball, move runners over, and do things needed to win games. Especially when your offense is not hitting. They make mistakes and teams pound them. I didn't get to see much this weekend but caught the highlight yesterday where they failed to execute a simple run down with bases loaded and two outs. Next guy bangs a 3 run triple. You simply cannot do that when you aren't hitting. Rendon cannot return soon enough. The Nats are 7 back. Another 3-4 weeks of this stuff and they will need to play .700 ball to win 90 games. "Here comes the run". On the bright side, my golf game is really coming along. Yesterday hit the ball as well as ever. So I have that going for me.

Don't follow the Nats closely, and I could be way off here, but it seems like they have adopted the Tiger's model of the past few years---excellent starting pitching, lousy defense, and a feast-or-famine offense.

Glad to hear the golf game is solid. Spring is here.
