I am not exactly sure, but I believe Stanford is the only private school on the list ...? All the others are state schools. How many of the schools are also in the top 25 in XC?
Guess VU should recruiit some top sprinters or hurdlers or jumpers or weight throwers or make friends with the football coach ... Seriously though, VU needs a top notch 400 runner - both men and women. VU sometimes gives away about two seconds on the 400 leg of the DMR. Men should be better, this year; women are in trouble. A truly competitive 4x400 would be nice.
