So let's recap.
  1. Teenager gets murdered by a cop after being shot while clearly incapacitated on October 20, 2014. There is dashcam video of said shooting that clearly shows what happens.
  2. Unpopular mayor is in the midst of the most contentious re-election in the history of his office.
  3. Mayor is finally re-elected in April after failing to win a majority in the February primary.
  4. Freelance journalist files FOIA request, and finally after 400 days video is finally released and cop is charged with what anyone watching the video for two seconds knew should have happened a year earlier.
  5. People justifiably angry.
  6. Police chief fired.
What do you think about this, BustaNutter?

Nutter hasn't had an overwhelming amount of unjustified cop brutality. Just a narcotics division that has been revealed as wildly corrupt. Maybe the recommendation of their DOJ review a few years ago were taken to heart.

Those narcotics cops are a relic of the days of Rizzo. Rendell started the ball rolling going after corruption, then Street rolled it back, and Nutter and Seth Williams really seem to have made it a priority. I'm afraid that Kenney is going to be another machine politician in the Street mould.

It's getting harder and harder to be a corrupt cop these days. How are you supposed to rough people up and/or shake them down with all these cell phone cameras and body cameras? It's almost like this country just wants cops to focus on handling actual crime.

He will be forced to resign. Typical rahm.

The silence is deafening from the White House and Clinton campaign. One is a Chicago native, the other made his bones in Chicago, and both have extensive ties to Rahm.

It's not often that a Kenyan makes his bones in Boston.

Yeah, not like t happens almost yearly
