Did anyone hear the announcers on Fox Sports 1 say that Nova may be getting their best recruiting classes ever over the next couple years? They said they will have to wait and see which I like since players shouldn't be crowned until they have done something but it something exciting to look forward to. But can anyone remember a more promising time for committed recruits?

The board already has stuff on Adrianna Hahn (2015) from Wilmington. Got to see her in the Play by Play Classic..she put on a show. Three pt shooter with unlimited range, ball handler, quick moves..only 5-7 but strong and rebounds, plays D, ..

If your from PA you have to know about Kelly Jekot (2016).. athletic, shooter, post, shot blocker,,all around.. a major get for Nova. With Hahn thats two Top 100 or even Top 50 national players depending on what poll you look at

For 2015 they also have Bridget Herlihy http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/high-school/post/_/id/33895/braintrees-bridget-herlihy-commits-to-villanova and Grace Stant http://hoopgroup.com/headquarters-blog/shore-conference-basketball-2/grace-stant-picks-villanova/

Both seem like perfect fits for Villanova and bring size, athleticism, skill, etc.. I have not seen them play but the word is excellent...

For 2016 they have Mary Gedaka http://articles.philly.com/2014-12-22/sports/57284626_1_lisa-gedaka-mary-gedaka-villanova (any old timers remember mom..her coach?) and Raven James http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/recruiting-insider/wp/2014/06/09/paul-vi-guard-raven-james-commits-to-villanova/ ... I have not seen either of them play but again the word is excellent..

With the way the team is playing after getting healthy and these recruits on the horizon ts a good time to be a fan of the Lady Wildcats!

The name is in the rafters....Lisa Angelotti. I saw her play a few times. Changing
names is Louin a front court or backcourt player? Shelly P's father was a good friend
of mine. I was a year ahead of him in high school. He went to saint Joes.

I think Louin has some versatility and can shoot outside and handles the ball relatively well..with her size she can get to the basket and defend inside..she can play a lot of positions.. but I wouldn't count on her to run the point or defend a quick player on the outside..at times she gets into the flow of the game when the ball is moving and gets some shots.. other times she seems to somewhat stop the flow on offense by not making quick enough decisions or passing up a shot for a harder drive..but she is just a freshman..and think she will have a nice run with the Cats.. I lost you a little..who is Shelly P?

simpaul,

Your thoughts on Louin seem right on the mark. Shelley P is Shelley Pennefather who
in my estimation and almost all others who saw her play the best female player in our
history.

Duh...my bad..THAT Shelley P.. although I never got to see her play I have been schooled on her legendary status..thanks! Nothing against Shelley or the other players after her but its been too long since another player has come into the GOAT (greatest of all time) discussion..would be exciting to have a need to have that discussion!

Shelly played some professional ball in the Far East, and she
wouldn't play on Sundays if she couldn't get to Mass. When she
returned to this country she did join a cloistered order of nuns
in Virginia. She communicates with visitors through a screen. I do not
believe she left the convent to go her father's funeral. I believe that her father
Mike was a general in the Air Force and was a base commander here
in upstate N.Y. Mike moved to Havertown when he was a soph in high
school. We both looped it at Merion and became good friends.

Kelly Jekot - ranked # 37- 4 star recruit that is a great get for Harry.

I get some news papers up from the towns of our recruits. But I haven' t found out any
news about the shooter from Delaware. Does anyone have any news about her play this
year. Herlily (SP?) from Braintree is playing well and she has a younger sister. The other girl
from Ma. is playing well, and she was a starter/star as an eighth grader.

We need some size; the Coyer twins who play guard are among our leading rebounders, and they can
play. But Harry will find a way

couple recent things I found..her play looks pretty good!! she won't help with the size..and may have to wait for the Coyers..

Kelly Jakot is only a junior , and she has scored over 1300 points.
She has a younger sister Katie who knocked in four treys in the
last playoff game.
