Since we're on the topic of education policy

Most interesting part for mewas that the richest kids are the ones who drink and drug the most out of any group. Makes sense - they have the most resources to access it with. I think the introduction of alcohol/drugs is vital to mental health. Every person develops their own "relationship" with these things and if their only resource for discussing this relationship is fellow 15 year olds and party music it can lead to bad news. Brains are still developing and they start using partying to cope - never learn how to confront issues and frustration just builds up. Not saying it's hard being a rich kid, but you gotta be mindful as a parent

Snottie, it's probably very tough for rich kids. Having to live each and everyday being reminded of their privilege. The self hate must be too much. We should have empathy for these kids. Can you imagine if they were given scholarships and forced to be educated at places like Yale or Cal Berkeley? If only realize they other options exist. I'd suggest by starting a public hunger strike to raise awareness of these issues.
