I don't know how legitimate this is. Usually the rankings are more along the lines of....

1-Notre Dame
2-Georgetown
3-Boston College
4-Holy Cross
5-Villanova

etc.

Challenge on Holy Cross being better than us. But the other three, yes.

ND, Georgetown and BC are clearly the top three - others jockey for debatable positions.

Academics would rank about like this:

1. Notre Dame
2. Georgetown
3. Boston College (since Flutie, not before)
4. Villanova and Holy Cross (tie)
6. Forham

Beyond those you have Marquette, Xavier, Providence, Loyola MD and a couple West Coast catholics that are decent. After that, who cares?

If I had to do it again Santa Clara wouldn't be a bad choice.

That was the one on the West Coast that I was thinking of but couldn't remember (kept thinking Pepperdine). I know nothing about Santa Clara other than that they have some pretty good stats. Gonzga may be decent too.
