Does anyone else agree that the Big East Regular season trophy looks like a piece of crap? It looks like a FISCHER PRICE hard plastic ball on top of a pedestal. Honestly get rid of the tonka toy and present an award worthy of a major basketball conference.
Wasn't the Big East head honcho supposed to award the trophy? Did Val get lost in traffic?
The announcement about the award ceremony over the PA system was too late and the Wells Fargo PA system in the upper decks sucks. Half the time you could not understand the PA announcer. ( And it was not because of crowd noise. ) It is a shame because this great team achievement should have been recognized by and applauded by a hell of a lot more fans than those few who stayed for the ceremony.
Again thanks to the PA systems I still don't know what the kid won, who hit the half court shot.
