Springsteen taking his ridiculous political activism to new heights

The post is nearly a week late on this.

How many people does this effect in North Carolina?

Instead of cancelling a concert in protest, wouldn't it be more constructive to put the $1MM+ of income from the concert to use to fight for his cause and have the opportunity to address the crowd of 20M fans regarding the issue?

This is a classic example of trying to force a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

If he want's to look unselfish he should do the concert and give the money to LGBT

You enter the ladies room immediately to ensure your daughter's safety. But wouldn't you do that if you witnessed ANY strange or threatening individual entering the room where your daughter was? Whether it was a person with an Adam's apple wearing a skirt or someone who just looked like trouble...

Liberal whiners (like Bruce) think this is a discrimination issue. I don't see it that way.

And by the way, it's perfectly ok to be unsure on this issue. I'm pretty sure the founding fathers couldn't have conceived this would ever be a problem in their America.

So yesterday I threw on a complete Bruce show on youtube. January 2016 the river tour from msg. It was okay. Haven't listened to Bruce in years otherwise.

Does anyone actually believe Springsteen is doing this because he believes in it? He just wants the good press. I can't blame him, he's basically the same shitty act for 30+ years and his fans would take a bullet for him. Now he might get some new fans and make more money.

I'm a Springsteen MUSIC fan. His politics are off the charts wacko at this point. It's so easy to be a left wing nut when you're a multi-millionaire.

The NBA All-Star game is scheduled for Charlotte next season. Will be interesting to see if any pressure is put on the NBA.

Springsteen needs good press about as much as Jay Wright needs a new tailor. Or more money for that matter.
 
Pearl Jam also cancelled their Raleigh concert. Have already heard mumblings about the All Star game.

Anyone know how this effects LGBT rights in discrimination cases? I hear that's another aspect of the law.
