My thoughts:

1. It's a terrible decision as a matter of constitutional law. If conservative-minded justices started embracing substantive due process to justify making political decisions, people would accuse them of being traitorous. They're already being accused of that for writing reasoned dissents.

2. Gay marriage should be legal.
