Not just a suspicious package. Daily Mail is saying that police found an ambulance fitted with a bomb that was to be brought into the stadium. Sounds like a major catastrophe was avoided.

Soccer is such a gutless, pansy boy sport. It's why I prefer golf. I once saw several powerful explosions occur at Bushwood CC and the match continued anyway. True resilience
I'm going to Germany in May and was planning to continue on to Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris by train before flying home. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't reconsidering my plans.
Don't be a pu$$y. May is just about the best time of year to go to those parts of Europe (June maybe slightly better), good choice. Depending on available time though I'd probably spend more time in Bavaria (or Berlin if that's your thing) and Amsterdam than Brussels and to a lesser extent Paris.
For what it's worth, even with somewhat heightened risk, I'd also trust the Germans and Dutch with my security before the Belgians and French, so could justify some changes in that regard too.
